Typography for Children – Kevin Larson
- Kevin Larson, Microsoft
How should typography for children be designed differently than for expert readers? While adult readers are very fast at completing all the sub-tasks of reading, kids read more slowly and more effortfully. We can design typography to support different components of reading, which will help kids become better readers. This is being built into Microsoft’s new reader application called Learning Tools for OneNote.
