Research: I have worked in theory CS, ML/AI. My current research interests are (a) fairness & robustness in supervised and unsupervised learning and (b) reasoning abilities & finetuning of large language models. In the past, I have worked on sampling techniques for large data to efficiently explore, summarize, and learn.
Education: PhD (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), 2007, and BSc (Chennai Mathematical Institute), 2002.
