Hao Chen

About

Hao Chen is a Senior Research PM of the Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA) Collaboration & Accelerator Team (previously Outreach Team), and a Senior Member of the China Computer Federation (CCF). Since joining MSRA in 2018, he has been instrumental in driving key academic initiatives, including the Joint PhD Program and AI open-source education Program. He manages strategic collaborations with top-tier universities in China, such as THU, SJTU, FDU, XJTU, ZJU, NJU, and SEU, as well as with CCF. Currently, he is overseeing research collaboration management in the field of Embodied AI at Microsoft Research Asia

He has organized and hosted numerous academic exchange events, including the CVPR Pre-workshops. Previously, he led efforts in managing the Microsoft Student Club and the Microsoft AI Education Community, where he directed popular programs which gained widespread popularity among university students and AI learners.

Hao holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, which he received in 2013
