Maximiliana completed a PhD program at the Centre for Doctoral Training in Pervasive Parallelism at the University of Edinburgh. Her research focuses on optimizing large-scale deep learning methods for machine translation and language models. With a strong expertise in natural language processing, she is interested in inference optimization and data mining. Currently, she is a Senior Research Engineer at AI Systems & Architectures group at SPARC (Systems Planning and Architectures). Previously, she was a Deep Learning R&D Engineer at Intel, researching AI-hardware codesign.
