About
Hello! My name is Yangqiaoyu Zhou (I also go by Rosa).
I recently graduated from CHAI lab (opens in new tab) at the University of Chicago working with Chenhao Tan (opens in new tab). During PhD, my research focused on explainability in natural language processing. I studied learning from natural language explanations to improve model capabilities, including robustness to out-of-distribution data (opens in new tab), few-shot learning ability (opens in new tab), and interpretability. I also explored how large language models can support scientific discovery by generating hypotheses that explain patterns in data (opens in new tab) and incorporate insights from existing literature (opens in new tab).
Here at Microsoft, I am a scientist in Teams with a focus on building/evaluating/recommending agents for users to improve productivity in a collaborative group setting.
