Yaoyi Chen

About

I am Yaoyi Chen, a Senior Research Software Dev Engineer at Microsoft Research AI4Science in Berlin, part of the BioEmu team. I was trained in Biological Sciences and Math during bachelor period and moved on to combine them with machine learning. My doctoral studies focused on ML potentials and generative models for molecular dynamics, particularly in modeling protein systems with coarse-grained resolution. My current research focuses on using artificial intelligence to integrate scientific knowledge of molecular systems, providing deeper insights and creating new applications. In my free time I like exploring new areas and amateur electronics.
