Helios is an online distributed indexing system for service analytics. For clusters that produce massive volumes (think PB scale) of log data, Helios constructs distributed indexes on the data and supports near real-time querying. Helios is used for log processing in Microsoft’s datacenter scale Cosmos clusters.
We did a tech transfer of Helios to the Cosmos service analytics team.
