HAMS: Smartphone-based Driver License Testing Automation

The HAMS project at Microsoft Research India has been used to automate driver license testing, by having a windshield-mounted smartphone use its front/rear camera and other sensors, to monitor the driver and their driving during the test. HAMS has been deployed at Dehradun, India, for conducting dozens of driver license tests a day, without the involvement of human evaluators.
