OSIsoft PI System Overview

This talk will present an overview of the OSIsoft’s PI System detailing the benefits of a high fidelity data store, describing system architecture and product offerings. We will highlight AF 2.0 which allows users to aggregate, organize and model complex sets of assets with emphasis on delivering maximum value for minimum effort. The talk will conclude with a demonstration showing how the PI system can be leveraged to facilitate “Green IT” in the data center space.

Christian Luckock has more than twelve years of software experience in process industries and has worked at OSIsoft for the past 7 years Christian’s current role focuses on helping data center and IT customers architect solutions that leverage the PI system to achieve maximum results. Previous roles at OSIsoft include senior software developer and product manager for various OSIsoft product offerings Prior to joining OSIsoft, Christian developed batch automation software systems for the Sequencia Corporation. Christian receive his B.S degree in computer science from Arizona State University, graduating with the highest honors.
