- Anand Mishra | IIIT Hyderabad
Speaker Details
I am a doctoral student at International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H). Here I am associated with Center for Visual Information Technology and advised by Prof. Jawahar. My primary research interests are Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition and its applications in robust document image understanding. To be specific, I work on probabilistic models for robust understanding of images containing text.
I am also advised by Dr. Karteek Alahari (Post Doctoral Researcher, ENS-WILLOW, INRIA, Paris, France) for my doctoral research.
Prior to joining IIIT-H in 2009, I completed my masters [M.Tech.(Computer Science)] from Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi and undergraduate studies [B.Sc. (with Mathematics) followed by M.Sc.(Computer Science)] from Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur.
