
AI for Good Open Call
The AI for Good Open Call Program supports individuals and organizations creating positive change in Washington State. This two-year program will provide opportunities for scientific collaboration with the Microsoft AI for Good Lab, along with a total of $5 million in Azure service credits. The program aims to drive innovative AI projects in sustainability, public health, and human rights, celebrating the region’s innovative spirit and building a brighter future for all. This initiative underscores Microsoft’s commitment to Washington State, recognizing the community’s important role throughout the company’s 50-year history.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the 2025 Microsoft AI for Good Open Call Program, entities and/or projects must be based in or benefit Washington State and its residents. Eligible entities include nonprofits, academic institutions, individual researchers, startups, and businesses with a mission aligned with the program focus areas: sustainability, public health, and human rights. Projects should demonstrate innovation, scalability, and feasibility, utilizing AI to address complex challenges and deliver measurable social impact. Applicants must also showcase the capacity to deploy and scale their solutions using Azure cloud services.
