About

As part of the PROSE team, my research is focused on leveraging program synthesis technologies to make users more productive by automating repetitive tasks. Two research directions that I am particularly excited about is integrating syntactic program synthesis with semantic knowledge and approaches that do not require the user to give examples, also called predictive program synthesis. More broadly, I am fascinated by advanced in artificial intelligence in general and always try to find new ways of integrating and combining them to solve new and exciting problems.

Before joining Microsoft, I worked as a doctoral researcher at KU Leuven under supervision of Luc De Raedt, mainly working on leveraging predictive program synthesis for automating preprocessing steps of the data science pipeline. During this time, I also collaborated with Sumit and Vu on integrating large language models with Flash Fill in order to solve problems that require semantic knowledge and natural language.
