Justin M. Rao is a an Economic Researcher at Microsoft Research in the New York City research lab. He is an empirical microeconomist who came to Microsoft following a two year stint with Yahoo! Research in Silicon Valley. He completed his Ph.D. in economics in 2010 at UC San Diego under the capable guidance of Jim Andreoni.
