About
Tianyu He is a Researcher at Machine Learning Group, Microsoft Research Asia. His research interests include machine learning, multimodal learning, generative learning, and their applications on content understanding and creation. Before joining Microsoft in 2022, he spent 3 years on AI landing at Alibaba DAMO Academy, where he made significant contributions to the research and development of the City Brain project, which is a large-scale real-world visual computing system that analyses hundreds of thousands of real-time video streams from about 50 cities worldwide. He authored tens of academic research papers in many well-recognized international conferences like NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc.
