Healthcare AI agents can now be customized and evaluated to tackle even more of the “undifferentiated heavy lifting” in healthcare. One example is to organize complex patient data into clear timelines to quickly understand the order of events across modalities like text, labs, and imaging. This episode explores how new Microsoft technology helps determine which agent to use for a given task and enables specialized agents to communicate and work together to help deliver care. Open sourcing this technology lets developers innovate on top of it, applying it to additional scenarios using familiar productivity tools like Teams, Word, and PowerPoint, with a vision to accelerate precision medicine.
