- Itai Benjamini | Weizmann Institute
We will comment on invariant random processes on infinite Cayley graphs, including first passage percolation.

Itai Benjamini is a Professor at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel. He received his PhD from the Hebrew University in 1992. In 2004 he received the Rollo Davidson prize, jointly with Alexander Holroyd. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rollo_Davidson_Prize In 2011 he was an IMS Medallion lecturer and also presented a course in the St Flour probability summer school. Last year he presented the first Schramm Lecture at the IMS meeting in Colorado. Among many other contributions, he is well known for having initiated, with Oded Schramm, the study of percolation on groups. For more information, see http://www.wisdom.weizmann.ac.il/~itai/
