Gabriel Weisz works on tools to automatically and efficiently map neural networks to Project Brainwave. Prior to working at Microsoft, he was a Computer Scientist at USC’s Information Sciences Institute, where his research focused on aerospace applications for FPGAs and FPGA-based network devices. He received a Ph.D. in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2015, a B.S. with a double major in computer science and electrical engineering from Cornell University in 1999, and spent over 10 years in between as co-founder and vice president of technology at a healthcare IT startup.
