I am Kun Li (李琨), a Researcher at Heterogeneous Extreme Computing (HEX) group of Systems and Networking Research Lab, Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA).
My research interests include large-scale AI4Science system, high-performance parallel algorithm, and LLM distributed training.
I received the Ph.D. degree with the State Key Laboratory of Computer Architecture, Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICT, CAS) in 2022. The thesis was titled with Research and Application on Multi-level Discontinuous and Nonlinear Scalability for Massively Parallelism (opens in new tab), which was awarded with “CCF优秀博士学位论文奖 (opens in new tab)” and “ACM SIGHPC China优秀博士学位论文奖 (opens in new tab)“.
