I am an AI Resident at MSR AI working on adversarial training and robustness verification of deep neural networks. I am broadly interested in machine learning, and my goal is to make it safe, robust, and reliable in the real world. When it comes to applications, I am most excited about computer vision.
Before joining MSR, I interned at Uber ATG in San Francisco where I worked at the intersection of machine learning and uncertainty modeling for autonomous driving.
I hold a masters in robotics from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. During my masters, I worked with Professors Howie Choset and Matthew Travers on multi-agent motion planning, machine learning for tumor search, and deep reinforcement learning for navigation. In 2016, I obtained a BS in Mathematics and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
