Rules of Thumb: 52 Principles for Winning at Business Without Losing Your Self
- Alan Webber | Alan Webber
In a long and varied career in the political, corporate and entrepreneurial fields, Webber accumulated “lessons learned” and addresses them here:
- How can I find work that inspires me?
- How can I manage my boss?
- How can I take an idea and make it into an entrepreneurial venture?
- How can I turn a problem into an opportunity?
- What kind of leader should I be?
- How to hire, fire and mentor?
In always timely and sometimes counterintuitive advice, Webber wants to begin a dialogue about how we can share advice and “lessons learned” for more fulfilling and productive work lives.
