Lead Researcher


Dr. Tao Qin (秦涛) joined Microsoft Research Asia in 2008. His research interests include artificial intelligence (with applications to robotics), game theory (with applications to cloud computing, online and mobile advertising, ecommerce), machine learning, information retrieval, computational advertising, and data mining. Prior to joining Microsoft, he got his PhD degree and Bachelor degree from Tsinghua University.  He is a member of ACM and IEEE.
